Douglas Johnson a security officer at Ward Security has received a prestigious “Security Officer of Distinction” Award at the inaugural Approved Contract Scheme (ACS) Pacesetters Achievement Awards luncheon. The event brought together some of the best security companies in the industry and the awards were presented by Bill Butler, the CEO of the Security Industry Authority (SIA).
The ACS Pacesetters membership is made up of security companies who are in the top 15% benchmarking and achievement levels set by the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme. To be a member of the ACS Pacesetter all companies must be accredited and reach a minimum score of +122 at their annual inspection. There are currently 766 companies who have achieved ACS accreditation however only 115 are eligible to join the Pacesetters proving they are best in class.
