Ward Security has appointed Andy Hedley-Smith to the position of General Manager, Response and Control, in a move that will support further robust business growth for the expanding Kent based supplier of security and front-of-house services.
Andy Hedley-Smith has spent the past 31 years working for Kent Police Force and the Metropolitan Police Force where he reached the position of Chief Inspector with both forces. Working alongside the Director Team and Response and Control teams he will ensure the company continues to provide a first class service customers as well as supporting the strategic business aims of the business, and providing leadership and direction to the Response and Control.
Speaking about the appointment, Kevin Ward, Managing Director of Ward Security said “It is vital we continue to ensure that the operational function of the business is as robust as possible to support the challenges we face as the business continues to grow. Andy’s appointment will help further improve our service to our customers and our effectiveness in the marketplace, allowing us to concentrate on our growth plans and strengthen our company in the marketplace.”
Andy Hedley-Smith will be based at the company’s Coach House facility at Pembroke, Chatham Maritime and started his duties earlier this month.
